Lab mission and goals
The lab heads
are Dr Amanda Krause and Dr Dan Miller
in the Department of Psychology at James Cook University. The lab aims to produce high quality,
innovative Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research focused on the
discipline of psychology.
Research Programs
To advance scientific knowledge and improve tertiary psychology teaching and learning practices, the lab focuses on research concerning:
- students’ perceived interest in, and value of, statistics and research instruction
- best practices for teaching and learning statistics and research methods online
- work-integrated learning (WIL) and undergraduate research experience (URE) opportunities
- scholarship of supervision (SOS)
Current Projects
- Developing a Psychology Resource Library
