The RAL lab aims to produce high quality, innovative social and applied psychological research into:
- everyday musical practices and experiences
- the influence of the arts on health and well-being
- performer and audience interactions
- perceptions of identity
in order to advance scientific knowledge and improve individual and community well-being.
We achieve this by:
- conducting rigorous research to a high standard;
- integrating multiple methodological approaches and implementing best practices;
- working with a wide-range of partners and stakeholders.
The RAL lab also seeks to develop early career researchers, providing them with a platform to succeed on their chosen career path, engage with a broad range of stakeholders, and provide leadership within the field. To that end, Dr Krause (the RAL lab) is looking for students who
are interested in gaining experience conducting research.
